Martini Bikes

There has been a lot of buzz around recently about this pair of custom motorcycles from Sussex, England based bike builders Shaw Speed & Custom, and quite rightly so.

The Martini bikes were commissioned for an Art fair in Chelsea, London as its masterpiece to encapsulate the spirit of the brands rich motor racing history and the un-mistakable Martini livery seen on racecars through out the world in the late 1960’s.  Just two of these custom motorcycles have been built, sporting the numbers ‘18’ and ‘63’ the year that the Martini brand was born 1863.

Both based on a stock Harley Davidson Sportster XL883R, the bikes were stripped down with new rear sections fabricated in-house, the rear shocks were replaced with gold Ohlins and the original wheels were replaced with new hand built rims. Custom RSD gas tanks were fitted (love RSD) and some moto bars complete the pretty impressive make over.

The custom fabricated exhausts are unique to the Martini bikes, as is the distinctive Martini paintwork, starting on the tank and wrapping all the way round to the new rims.

Just one question remains to be asked. Which one will you choose; Shaken or Stirred?
