It’s been a busy year on King of Fuel, with the custom motorcycles that we feature taking up most of the slots for the most popular posts. So we’ve put together a list of the top 5 most viewed motorcycles on KOF in 2014. It’s fair to say there are a couple of favorites in there and also a couple of pleasant surprises. Enjoy. Cherry’s Company – BMW R nineT Highway Fighter
This year BMW Motorrad Japan commissioned four of the best Japanese motorcycle shops to do whatever the hell they wanted to a stock BMW R NineT. This is the Highway Fighter by Cherry’s Company and it was by far and away the MOST popular bike on King of Fuel this year.
OEM Typhoon – 1995 Ducati 900ss
A person Favorite of mine, this is the Typhoon by Old Empire Motorcycles, based in the UK. lovingly crafted using a 1995 Ducati 900ss donor bike, this rather impressive and quite simply beautiful creation has been raising eyebrows across the globe since it’s launch.
Hide Motorcycle (Hidemo) Custom BMW R nineT
Another bike that was part of the BMW Motorrad Japan Custom Project, this was a firm favorite amongst King of Fuel readers. With it’s late 70’s early 80’s racer feel to it, the imapct this bad boy had was quite literally immense.
1975 Honda CB550 Motorcycle Custom Build
Even though this was published in 2013 it was still one of the most popular bikes on King of Fuel this year. It’s easy to see why to be fair with its simple stripped backed looks, classic appeal and slick mat black paint job, who wouldn’t want to see this time and time again.
Swart Gevaar Honda XL500 by Los Muertos Motorcycles
‘Bad to the bone’ is all I can say about this quite simply stunning Honda XL500 by Los Muertos motorcycles based in South Africa. The Swart Gevaar is somewhat of a legend on the scene already and we can’t wait to see the next creations from the simply awesome team at Los Muertos.
