Yamaha XJR 1300 Project by Deus Customs

If you’re a big Fan of custom motorcycles then no doubt you will have run into the gorgeous Yamaha XJR 1300 Deus project bike online. This impressively stylish bike is part of the Yamaha Yard Build series and uses the XJR 1300 as the base model. After receiving the stock bike from Yamaha, the Deus team quickly jumped at the opportunity and began rapidly stripping the bike down to its bare essentials.

As stated from Deus Customs, “this project bike was based closely on the racing motorcycles of the late 1970’s and the 1980’s. Those sweet years of famous racing innovations held many aggressive styles that were built for two reasons: power and speed.”

To match the powerful machines from the 70’s and 80’s, Deus thought that it was important to remove a good portion of the body in order to show off the 1251cc air-cooled engine. Once the body panels were ripped apart, they were left with an extremely aggressive stance that required a bit more tweaking to fully bring out the extravagance of the XJR model. Deus decided to begin customizing the bike with noticeably wider bars, and then hand crafting their own bodywork for the rest of the bike by using pieces of sheet aluminum.

After countless hours of work the bike was finally shaped into perfection and prepped for painting. The flat black color choice fits the Yamaha XJR body perfectly, and then was topped off with fully black custom Ohlins traditional front suspension along with rear shocks to match. The LeoVince full titanium exhaust proved to be the best alternative for replacing the stock system, creating an excruciating growl that’s sure to turn heads everywhere the bike is spotted.

Another noticeable change from the original stock style of the Yamaha XJR is the customized Hella Rallye front light. For tires, Pirelli race tires were used due to their performance along with Marvic Streamline magnesium wheels for optimum grip during tight turns on the track. The Brembo brakes and clutch top the motorcycle off and set it apart as a performance machine and a force to be reckoned with.
