1976 Ford Bronco

How can you not love the Ford Bronco and specifically this 1976 Ford Bronco.
After the end of WWII American GIs were all about their ATV’s and 4×4 vehicles, especially the Jeeps that they used on a daily basis. This created a whole new market for auto makers and especially Ford who identified the need for a small car-like 4×4 that could go on-road and off-road without batting an eyelid. Speed and comfort were two very important factors with the Bronco as well as a need to maintain the feel of it being a status symbol, not a workhorse.
This particular Bronco was sympathetically restored from the ground up and features a 140 bhp, 302 cu. in. OHV V-8 engine, three-speed automatic transmission, Mono-Beam front suspension with lockable four-wheel drive and double-acting shock absorbers, and front disc and rear drum brakes. Wheelbase: 92 in.
But the best thing about this Bronco is that it’s up for sale next month with RM Auctions at the historic Hershey Lodge. The guide price is between $30k – $40k and without reserve, so you never know, you could bag yourself a perfect example of this ultimate classic for a steal of a price!
