2007 Triumph Bonneville EB043 by Ellaspede

Ellaspede is one of those bike shops where people like to walk in off the street and “talk hogs”. The concept for the 2007 Triumph Bonneville- EB043 was born out of one of those friendly chats with a customer named Steve. He was looking for a bike that had a mild custom build. After several discussions and many hours making a wish list of his preferred design options, Steve began to research the best possible options of bikes to use as a base for his newly imagined creation.

Steve settled on the 2007 Triumph Bonneville that had several custom options. These motorcycles have a reputation for durability and power, making them a great choice for a variety of terrains. Modifying a bike of this type proved to be a difficult challenge. He didn’t want to focus only on the extra after-market “bells and whistles”. Steve wanted more.

He wanted a low rider. It wasn’t until the final choice of a rear Shinko tire with a double strip was selected that the final height could be determined.  After the first fitting, the right shocks had to be selected which also helped to determine the lower stance. Harley Sportster shocks were eventually used. The 2007 Triumph Bonneville- EB043 boasts a unique, chesterfield lounge styled seat made from kangaroo hide.  Front grip wraps and custom cable covers helped to bring Steve’s vision to life.
