C70 DBR1 Chronometer Watch
This awesome looking, limited edition timepiece is believe it or not is constructed using an actual piece from the historic 1959 Le Mans winning Aston Martin DBR1/2. – Which coincidently was recently sold for $20 million!
Within the back plate of the watch is a medallion of aluminum from the original and the only Aston Martin to have ever taken a Le Mans 24-hour victory; The 1959 DBR1/2.
Bearing the number 5 from the race winning car the watch is also engraved with the names of the two US drivers, Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori who drove it to victory.
Limited to only 100 pieces worldwide, the C70 DBR1 Chronometer is made in Switzerland using Thermo-compensated, 27 jewel, Swiss quartz chronometer with COSC Certification, has a chronograph with split minutes-seconds-tenths seconds and a Marine-grade stainless steel case.
