The Harley Davidson Softail Slim

The first Softail was made in 1984, and 31 years later Harley Davidson are keeping the iconic model alive with their newest Softail Slim. A surprisingly comfortable bike with a rigid suspension look, designed for easy handling and a smooth ride.

The Softail models are the only Harley Davidson’s with a counter balance engine. With its Air-cooled 103b Twin Cam V-Twin Engine, 6 speed cruise drive transmission, this bike is designed to be versatile.

The latest Softail slim see’s new features such as custom paint, or two tone colour options, improved brakes, new master cylinder with smoother ABS, Harley says its “New front brake components include a rigid four-piston fixed front brake calliper with 34mm and 32mm pistons coated to minimize initial displacement, brake pads with high-output friction material, a new master cylinder with a higher mechanical ratio, and a new 300mm front brake rotor. The calliper and master cylinder have been restyled to enhance the looks of each model.”

With a low 65cm seat, ultra compact, balancing on a low pivot point, this bike is manageable at low speed and designed for cruising.
