Yamaha SR500 by ExesoR Motorcycles
After purchasing a ‘basket case’ Yamaha SR500 for a mere 200€ the team at ExesoR Motorcycles set out to better their last project awesome project the ExesoR Café Racer. Keeping to a café racer concept but this time with a ‘Diesel Punk’ theme to it.
Taking less than a year to build, the ExesoR MACHINE has some quite radical features and styling like the tank and body parts made out of untreated aluminum, and the riveted fairing manufactured by Omega racer and how about those contrasting stock SR500 antique copper wheels.
All the engine screws have been covered with brass bushes and the bespoke seat is mantled with “tobacco” antique colored cow leather.
Recent Winner in the ‘Editors Choice – Custom Bike Magazine’ category at the Custom Bike Show in Germany.
The ‘drag’ exhaust pipe was manufactured out of stainless steel by BLECHMANN, and the the grips are custom-made of aluminum and mantled with seat leather. To add to the ‘Diesel Punk’ flavor the final photoshoot seen here took place in a steam train museum.
