DP Customs - Del Rey Motorcycle

Bringing together possibly two of my favorite things in the World, motor racing and Harley Davidson Custom Motorcycles, DP Customs based out of Arizona and run by two brothers Jarrod and Justin, seem to have pushed every one of my buttons with their ‘elf’ design Del Rey Custom Motorcycle.

Based on a 1200cc Evo, the Del Rey was inspired by the iconic 1970’s Formula 1 cars that raced in the famous elf liveries. Cars like the Tyrrell P34 with it’s six wheels and the supremely successful Tyrrell Ford driven by F1 legends like Sir jackie Stewart and Francois Cevert.

Finished in matte white and satin black paint the boldest choice on this build seems to be the electric blue frame, but boy was this the right choice. With a strong power to weight ratio the Del Rey needed some pretty hefty Brembo’s to bring the whole show to a halt and a set of bold looking Pirelli Night Dragon tires finish off the look perfectly.

A handmade CP Customs exhaust, a single fire ignition and a whole bunch of  Biltwell additions make this quite outstanding one of a kind custom stand head and shoulders above the competition. Let me tell you, the next time I start working on a bike, it’s gonna look like this.
